looking at this an other sites concerning the 2018 GMC it is plain that GM still haven’t decided to wake up and move into the 21st century. they persist with the column shift selector and drive/low indicators, even though it has an 8 speed transmission.
when is GM going to move the selector to the floor (console) so that the driver can use it as a manual? you know, actually make a ‘drivers’ pickup.
Agreed, I’ve got the 2015 Silverado, and although interior is comfortable and quiet, it seems gm is waiting for the others the make their move on technology and then follow-eventually. Gm is playing a very conservative game but that doesn’t usually pay the bills, they need to get back ahead of the pack and start setting standards like they did in the late eighties ,otherwise another bail out might be eminent. I’m loyal but come the Frick on, move forward and be little more aggressive with technology and power, that you can feel, otherwise might have to move on. My 2003 had more kick than this truck, come on gm what are you waiting for! !
