With 34 percent of the full-size pickup market in the US, GM is holding the second place, right behind the undisputed leader Ford. However, its last year’s sale has been decreased for 1.7 percent. That was a clear signal that some changes are necessary, and management from the GM has instantly reacted. In this year’s Detroit auto show they already have presented new 2019 Chevy Silverado. Apparently, its sibling Sierra is also on the way.

The official news is that the new 2019 GMC Sierra will have its debut on March the 1st in Detroit. The new truck will adopt Silverado’s lightweight frame made of high-strength steel and a wide bed floor. The design will probably also be very similar, but some specifics like headlights or front grille should be unique. The biggest differences will arrive with the top-end Denali trim which will also be presented on the same day.
